Apply to GATE

The 2010 GATE application is now available!

The GATE program is open to academically talented Texas high school students who are current sophomores or juniors at the time of the application. As part of the application, you will be asked to demonstrate academic achievement, an interest in educational processes, and a record of leadership and service activities.

The GATE program is free. To be admitted, you must be a Texas student (with at least one of your parents or guardians a Texas resident). In addition to tuition costs, the program will cover housing and food. If you live more than 100 miles from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, the program may also be able to pay for your travel expenses to and from the university.
